Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this portfolio and creative website (the "Site"), operated by Joshua W. Riley ("I," "me," or "my"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Purpose of the Site

The Site presents personal, professional, and creative information, including projects, music, updates, contact options, and links to work hosted elsewhere. The Site does not create user accounts, process payments, or itself form a contract for professional services. Any potential engagement discussed after contacting me will be governed by separately agreed terms.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise identified, the Site and its original text, design, graphics, branding, code presentation, music, and other creative material are owned by or licensed to Joshua W. Riley and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view the Site and share links to its public pages for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, license, scrape for redistribution, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it. Third-party names, marks, embeds, and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems;
• interfere with the Site's operation, security, or availability;

Third-party content and services

The Site contains links to and features from independent services, including SoundCloud, Cal.com, GitHub, and LinkedIn. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms and policies. Links and embeds are offered for convenience and context; they do not imply responsibility for or endorsement of all third-party content, availability, security, or practices.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the Site operator, without overriding any mandatory rights you have under the laws where you live. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
